Illalangi is owned and operated by John and Keryn Gorman, who have been growing grapes and olives for over twenty years.

Established in 2010, Illalangi Gourmet Foods brings together the couple’s passion for horticulture, quality food and wine and the Riverland all in the one place.  Their store embraces all of the elements of a warm and welcoming home filled with a bounty of the Riverland’s finest foods to showcase to tourists and locals alike. Through Illalangi they celebrate their passion for the region and the premium, clean, green produce the Riverland has to offer.

Illalangi means "home (or place) on hill."

The Aboriginal inspired artwork on our label depicts the myth of the Rainbow Serpent, a powerful symbol of both the creative and destructive power of nature. It is seen as the inhabitant of permanent waterholes such as the river and holds all control over life's most precious resource, water.

We respect and honour the Ngawait people whose country we live and work on.

We also pay respect to all our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders past, present and future.
We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on this land and commit to building a brighter future together.
